Abstract

468,580. Studs &c. MORTON, T. March 19, 1936, No. 8212. [Class 43] In collar studs &c. of the type having a removable head d, detachably secured to a body part a by a coaxial locking pin f, a cylindrical stem e carries the head d and is received in the top end of the body a. The pin f has a finger grip g and, preferably, a spherical lower end h and is loosely connected to the stem e by engaging surfaces m, n. When the parts are assembled the end h is engaged by protuberances j of a resilient strip i, which is held in place by a resilient support k. The parts are separated by pushing the head d down. The end of the stem e thus depresses the strip i sufficiently for it to release the pin f. Specification 22965 /11, [Class 43], is referred to.
