Abstract
400,117. Button fasteners. EGAN, A., 17, Plimsoll Street, Poplar, London. May 3, 1933, No. 12888. [Class 43.] In button fasteners comprising a ring-shaped back A and an arched transverse double arm B<1>, B<2>, adapted to pass through the eye of a button shank E, the two parts B<1>, B<2> of the arm are arranged one above the other in a plane at right-angles to the back A and the back is arched or notched to form a seat C for the end of the arm. The part B<2> is bent to form a central arch D whereinto the button eye snaps and the part B<1> may be straight or similarly arched. The seat C serves as a lock to prevent accidental disengagement of the fastener.
