Abstract

385,215. Studs. TOLK, C., 2A, Lindenlaan, Bussum, Holland. June 13, 1932, No. 16717. Convention date, June 18, 1931. [Class 43.] In collar studs comprising a shank 4 adapted to be inserted in a tubular stem 1, the shank and stem being fixed to plates 6, 3, respectively, and wherein the stem 1 is resilient and provided with slots 2, the shank is provided with lugs 5 which are adapted to snap into widened parts 9 of the slots. The tip of the shank may be tapered and the lip of the stem formed with recesses 7. The shank may be thickened as at 10 to provide an abutment for the stem. The diameter of the lugs is greater than the width of the slot, but is equal to or less than the diameter of the widened parts 9. The tubular stem may have a flat shape, the slots being in the broad sides. Specification 17128/08, [Class 43, Fastenings, Dress], is referred to.
