468,327. Memorandum - appliances. GROVES, W. W. (Gilman Fanfold Corporation) Dec. 30, 1935, No. 29168 /36. Divided out of 468,284. [Class 16] [Also in Group XVI] In web-feeding devices for use in autographic registers and other recording-machines and comprising feed - pins mounted on a chain passing around sprocketwheels, one or more of the sprocket-wheels consists of a number of axially-spaced sections 59, 60, Fig. 3, and the pins 36 are secured to lateral brackets 34 on some of the chain-links 30. The brackets may be integral with transverse members 35. Preferably, the free ends of the pins are rounded and arranged near the pitch-line of the chain. The sprocket-wheel shafts 26 are mounted in a stationary block 52 which may be provided with a track 56 for supporting the brackets 34. A guide 37 for maintaining the pins in engagement with the webs S is formed with inclined ends, and a slot 38 for receiving the pins. The guide is formed on a plate 39 which is hinged to a support 41 and is engaged by a spring 42, the guide being adjustable by means of a screw 43.
