Abstract

468,011. Surgical injection apparatus. BONNIN, T. June 13, 1936, No. 16578. [Class 81 (ii)] Surgical injection apparatus comprises a bulb 1 containing injection medium and gas under pressure, and having a sealed nozzle 3 connected by a rubber tube 4 secured by a wire 5 to an injection needle 6, the tube 4 containing a filter 9 for glass fragments. The needle is sealed within a glass tube 7 carrying a metal stylus sealed therein at 8 and passed into the needle to prevent obstruction thereof. In use the tube 7 is removed, the needle 6 inserted and the nozzle 3 then broken to effect injection of the medium by the gas contained in the bulb.
