467,182. Fluid - pressure brakes. BENDIX AVIATION CORPORATION. Dec. 11, 1935, No. 34347. Convention date, Sept. 18. [Class 103 (i)] In a hydraulic brake system the rear brakes 216 are connected directly to a master cylinder 218 by pipe 228 the front brakes 214 may be connected directly through a pipe 234 or may be applied through a booster 240 according to the position of a valve 232. The booster comprises a large piston operated by fluid from the master cylinder and operating a small piston which acts on the fluid operating the rear brakes.
