Abstract

466,727. Asbestos cement or like slabs &c. TURNER & NEWALL, Ltd., and HARRAP, E. R. Jan. 15, 1936, No. 1366. Addition to 430,016. [Class 87 (i)] Slabs and tiles which are an improvement in or modification of those described in the parent Specification comprise two or more corrugated sheets of asbestos-cement &c. enclosed within and spaced apart by plane sheets of like material. The corrugations of the different sheets may be of different sizes, Fig. 3. In a modification, the corrugations of the corrugated sheets described in the parent Specification or of one or more sheets of the above slabs &c., are separated by plane portions, Fig. 6. In a further modification, one or both of the outside plane sheets are omitted, and in forming a wall, floor, &c., plaster or concrete is applied to the face or faces of the slabs.
