Abstract

465,970. Television. TRAUB, E. Dec. 16, 1935, No. 34848. [Class 40 (iii)] In scanning devices of the kind comprising both stationary and rotating scanning members which receive the light beam in succession, the stationary member is so mounted that it is rotationally adjustable about the axis of the rotating member, to enable correct framing to be effected. The Figure shows apparatus of the kind described in Specification 425,552, modified in accordance with the invention by so mounting a ring 10 carrying on a bracket 9 a system of fixed mirrors 3 that it is rotationally adjustable about the axis of the motor-driven mirror drum 1 ; adjustment is effected by means of a worm 11. In a modification, Fig. 2 (not shown), of apparatus of the kind described in Specification 448,238, each of the two components comprising a rotary mirror drum co-operating with a fixed mirror system is constructed similarly to the single scanning device shown in the Figure. Specifications 394,446, 412,026,419,120,429,690, and 440,055 also are referred to.
