465,788. Friction clutches. NACKEN, W. Nov. 14, 1935, No. 31578. Convention date, March 25, 1935. [A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, May 15, 1936.] [Class 80 (ii)] [Also in Group XXII] According to the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91, drive is transmitted to the shaft 7 of a drum of a wire-drawing machine from a sleeve 20 through a spring 9, the upper end of which has a bracket 23 carrying a lever 24, a set screw 25 on which engages an abutment 26 carried on the sleeve 20. The lever 24 is depressed by a plate 21, controlled by a lever, to tension the spring 9 and cause it to grip a sleeve on the shaft 7 and transmit the drive. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
