Abstract

463,702. Safety razors. BERTRY, V. A. Oct. 9, 1935, No. 27827. [Class 30] The blade and clamping head are vibrated relatively to the surface being shaved by face-cam-rollers 3, cam surfaces on the ends of which engage follower pins 7 mounted on lugs on the guard G. The cams have the form of radial ribs arranged so that when a rib at one end engages its pin, at the other end, the pin engages the recess between two ribs. In a modified form a cam groove at the middle of the rollers engages a pin on the razor head. A scraper 11, Fig. 6, may be provided to clean the rollers.
