463,057. Davits. CARPMAEL, M. H. (Oswald, W. R.) Sept. 19, 1935, No. 26029. [Class 115] The free end of the curved gravity davit C runs on the outwardly inclined track 1 on the main supporting frame. The davit is supported intermediate of its length by the lever 4 pivoted at 5. The free end of this lever running on a track provided by the inclined frame members 11, 15 The outboard and luffing movement of the davit is controlled and assisted by screw gear also mounted in the main frame 6 comprising the screw 16 operated by the handle 17, the nut 22 supported by rollers 8 running on frame members and the link 24 connected to the link 4 and the nut.
