[Class 38 (iv)] Induction furnace plant comprises a number of furnaces of the ironless type, the circuits O1, 02 of which are individually tunable and which are connected in series with one another to the output of a single alternating current generator Q. The individual circuits may be tuned by variable capacities K1, K2 or by varying the number of turns of the induction coils O1, O2 by means of tappings. A variable capacity K may be connected in the main conductor between the furnaces.
