[Class 16] In an arrangement of sheets for bookkeeping purposes, the journal sheet a has a strip b of paper attached thereto near its top and bottom edges to extend over one of the booking columns on the sheet, a double-sided carbon sheet c is slipped under the strip b, and two further account sheets are placed over the carbon sheet c, the account immediately above the carbon sheet being transparent, the arrangement being such that when typing is effected on the top account sheet in the column registering with the strip b, it will be copied on the journal sheet a, but not on the back of the transparent account sheet. A statement or account sheet of smaller dimensions than the other sheets and transparent, with a one-sided carbon sheet detachably secured to its rear side with the carbon face directed upwards, can be inserted directly under the top opaque account sheet.
