July 3, 1935, No. 19074. Drawings to Specification. [Classes 110 (iii) and 122 (iii)] A power plant comprises (1) a combustion unit which may be a reciprocating internalcombustion engine which may deliver external power; (2) means whereby further fuel is burnt in the combustion-products and the resulting gases are used in an engine for delivering external power ; and (3) means whereby heat produced in the step (2) is imparted, as in a boiler, to a secondary fluid or fluids, e.g. water and/or mercury, the vapour thus produced being used in separate cycles. These vapours may be used in engines developing power and /or for process work. The engines may be turbines. The primary combustion unit may be of the type described in Specification 232,278, [Class 7 (i)]. Superheating and reheating arrangements are provided.
