[Class 63] Ornamenting.-In the production of velourlike head-coverings from felt, braid, textiles, such as meshed, knitted, woven, or crocheted fabrics, or straw-plaiting, the material is approximately or completely shaped and is then coated with an adhesive to which fibrous material is applied. The adhesive may be glue or a rubber composition, e.g. latex with stiffening-agents such as resins or gums ; vulcanizing may follow. In the case of a high head-covering, such as a bathing-cap produced from composite material, the folds are brought to such a position that they are removed when cutting out the space for the face. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 describes also the production of hats by sewing felt bandeaux together, coating with adhesive, and then with fibrous material. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
