455,251. Fountain pens. BASTING, W. A., c/o Sloman, R. M., Baumwall, Hamburg, Germany. Aug. 21, 1935, No. 23444. [Class 146 (iii)] In a fountain pen of the kind in which a collapsable sac 3 is deflated by blowing through an aperture 1 in the end of the barrel the rear end of the sac is enclosed in a thin tube 5 of impervious material closed at the outer end and spaced from the barrel and the sac. The tube 5 is held in place by means of a spring ring formed with tongues 10 and secured to the tube. The sac is preferably of elliptical cross-section for part or all of its length.
