455,063. Cabinets. HEALY, H. W., North Lee, Terrick, near Aylesbury, Bucking- hamshire, and METCALFE, C., 54, Manor Way, Ruislip, and LE CHEMINANT. H., 167. Botwell Lane, Hayes, both in Middlesex. Oct. 4, 1936, No. 27508. [Class 52 (i)] [See also Group XVII] A cabinet, e.g. for a radio receiver, comprises a framework formed of strips 1 .... 8 of thin sheet metal connected together, and panels 10 ... 12 having grooves 15 in at least two edges to receive longitudinal edges of the strips. The top panel 16 may seat upon inwardly directed flanges 1<11>of the strips 1 ... 4, and the back panel may be screwed to the vertical strips 5, 6 so as to be removed readily. The bottom is formed by a closed strip metal frame 19 having angle brackets 21 and horizontally disposed strips 20 welded thereto. A wooden panel may be seated upon the strips 20. Feet 23 in the form of wooden blocks may be arranged beneath the corners of the frame 19.
