454,764. Draught - excluders for doors and windows. DOUGLAS, A. H., 16, Place du Temple Neuf, Strasbourg, Bas-Rhin, France. March 9, 1936, No. 7124. Convention date, March 11, 1935. [Class 20 (iii)] A sliding-bar draughtexcluder of the kind carried by screws 4 and inclined slots 8 and raised by springs 6 when the door or window is opened, has the springs housed in borings 7 coaxial with the screw slots and of diameter larger than the width of the slots. Plugs 9 close the borings at the lower ends. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also modifications in which the excluder is carried by the ends of coiled springs attached to the door at the other ends and in which the return springs are housed in recesses away from the screw slots. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
