[Class 61 (iii)] A screwholding screwdriver comprises a member 3 slidably guided on the shank 1 and having its lower part split into resilient legs 5, 6 formed at the end with a recess 10 to receive the head 9 of the screw 8 and adapted to be forced apart by the head of the screw so that the latter can be driven home, a spring 12 drawing up the member 3 to hold the screw slot in engagement with the screwdriver point.
