Abstract
451,710. Photographic projectionprinting apparatus. WALSH, H., 55, Redditch Road, and WILSON, A. A., 220, Heath Road, both in KingsNorton.Birmingham. March 30, 1935, No. 9989. [Class 98 (i)] The apparatus comprises a lamp g illuminating an opaque negative or object in a holder d, and a double reflecting prism a or equivalent arranged between the holder and a lens e and adapted to pro duce at least two deflections of the image - forming bean before it is projected by lens e on to the holder f of the sensitive sheet. The longitudinal axis of the lamphouse h may be inclined at 75‹ to one of the parallel prism faces b, and may have a diffusing plate k. The holder d rests against one of the parallel prism faces c, which are inclined at 45‹ to the faces b, and has a hinged pressure-lid which may control as through a rod j a pivoted mercury switch i in the lamp circuit to switch on the lamp only when the lid is closed. The prism a may be in one piece or may consist of two parts contiguous along the dotted line; it may be replaced by a hollow prism filled with liquid, or by a pair of inclined reflecting plates of which at least one is transparent.
