450,879. Brushes; hand-tool handles. HAWARD, B. C., Milford House, Yarmouth, Isle of Wight. Feb. 1, 1935, No. 3346. [Classes 19 and 61 (i)] A cleaning brush for yacht bottoms when afloat is mounted on a hollow holder a which renders the brush buoyant and also tends to keep it in contact with the work. The holder or tank a is substantially wedge shape merging in a short tube b for attachment of a handle c. The upper surface of the tank is of smooth convex form and its under surface has two oppositely disposed concave cylindrical members a<2>, a<3> meeting in a knife edge a<4>. The position of the brush which is mounted on L-brackets f can be adjusted on plates e by wing nuts (not shown). A plate i, which pivots upon pins between stops k, is adapted to ensure smooth water flow over the tank as the brush is moved at the work.
