Abstract
449,385. Loose-leaf binders. KUGELMANN, H. W., 17, Badensche Strasse, Wilmersdorf, Germany. Oct. 30, 1935, No. 29967. [Class 146 (i)] In a loose-leaf file or binder, leaves in the form of double sheets are held between the file back 1 and a fold-engaging wire 2 extending along the inside of the back, and the U -shaped ends 3 of the wire extend round the ends of the back and into the tubular ends of a member 5 disposed along the outside of the back. The member 5 is a tube of flexible material, e.g. celluloid and, for use with a wire 2 of less length than the cover, is notched at each end, as also is the cover. Two or more wires may engage in the folds of two or more sets of leaves and may be engaged by a single tube of oval cross-section.
