Abstract
446,596. Fusible cut-outs. HENLEY'S TELEGRAPH WORKS CO., Ltd., W. T., 11, Holborn Viaduct, London, and BREEZE, H. W., 132, Wrotham Road, Gravesend, Kent. Jan. 26, 1935, No. 2604. [Class 38 (i)] A carrier for a cartridge fuse 1 having blade contacts 2 projecting from its ends comprises an insulating block 6 fitted with a pair of metal clips 9 one or both of which may be detachable, the clips being adapted to lie adjacent the ends of the cartridge and to engage the contacts 2. Each clip may comprise two arms 10 lying on either side of the contacts and united by a horizontal member 11 or may comprise a single arm lying between the contacts and fitted with a cross-piece at its lower end. The upper face of the carrier may have a metal boss threaded internally and externally for the attachment of a suitable tool for removing or inserting the fuse.
