[Class 38 (i)] A fuse carrier 4 adapted to be inserted in a head 1 and turned about its axis to cause the blades 5, 6 to enter between the contacts 8, 9, and their supporting blocks 2, 3 has its fuse wire 7 passing through a hole 26 and through loops in two spring wires 23. The fuse wire is thus under tension, and when it melts one wire 23 releases an indicating plunger 24.
