[Class 89 (i)] [See also Group XXVI] A bolt 14, e.g. securing the parts of a master connecting-rod big end together, extends through a washer 16 having a cylindrical surface engaging a similar recess at the end of the bolt hole, and having a projection for or co-operating with the bolt in any other way to prevent its rotation. A similar washer may be applied beneath the nut 19. Alternatively, the cylindrical surface may be formed on the bolt head.
