Abstract
446,274. Fuel injectors. MILLER, J., BROWN, W., and REBBECK, F. E., c/o Harland & Wolff, Ltd., Queen's Island, Belfast. Oct. 25, 1934, No. 30582. [Class 7 (iii)] An annular space K through which a cooling- medium is positively circulated is formed between a nozzle member B and a clamping- nut E which secures it to the injection device A. Packing-rings L, O prevent leakage from the annular space to the joint M and to the fuel-supply passage F, and a peripheral groove P around the nozzle member communicates with a passage Q in the injection device to intercept fuel leaking from the fuel-supply passages to the space K.
