[Class 56] A mould for pressing glass ware comprises a divided portion 5, 6 arranged within an opening in an individual body portion 3, and the sides 9 of either or both portions which are in contact with one another are conical or inclined in such a way that the pressure exerted by the plunger on the glass in the mould forces the parts 5, 6 of the divided portion into tight contact with one another.
