[Class 52 (ii)] In nesting chairs of the cantilever type the legs 4 extend downwardly to a point near the floor level and then curve inwardly and rearwardly at 8 to extend backwardly as the floor rails. The frames may be of tubular or strip metal. A flat spring steel strut 9, Fig. 5, may extend between the seat rails 2 below the seat.
