[Class 107] Relates to road gully covers of the kind comprising a frame 1 having a hinged cover 2 and adapted to be embedded in a pavement 3 around the gully 4 and having a grating. 6 extending across the front open side 5. According to the invention, the grating is adjustable vertically. In the construction shown, the grating is supported by end brackets 7 each having a vertical slot for adjustable connection with the frame by a securing bolt. Alternatively, the brackets engage in sunken guideways in the frame and are adjusted by distance-pieces inserted beneath them. Specification 399,251 is referred to.
