[Class 135] [See also Group XII] Locomotive smoke prevention apparatus controlled by pressure fluid, includes a distributer comprising a fixed member 39, a rotary member 42 which may be held against rotation by the admission of compressed fluid to a cylinder 49 and a segment 50 rotatable by a handle 51. The segment 50 is mounted on a cylindrical rod 80 connected at its lower end with the handle 51. The rotary member 42 is attached to a sleeve 82 surrounding the rod 80 and having a projection 83 engaging the operating connection from the cylinder 49.
