441,742. Screw propellers. HEKIMIAN, A. J., 12, Torrington Square, London. March 14, 1935, No. 7934. [Class 114] Screw propellers for aircraft comprise a series of sets of blades 7, spaced from one another along the axis of rotation, and supported on a skeleton structure composed of spiral bars 1, which progressively increase in diameter from the nose toward the base of the structure. These bars may have an aerofoil cross section. The structure is supported in spaced relationship to the nosing 4 and the driving shaft 6 passes therethrough, and is secured to the structure at its forward end.
