Abstract

A disazo dyestuff distinguished by a brilliant orange shade of colour is obtained by coupling tetrazotized 4 : 4<1>-diamino-3 : 3<1>-dichlordiphenyl with 1-(4<1> - methylphenyl)-3-methyl-5-pyrazolone. The dyestuff colours rubber a brilliant orange which is fast during the vulcanization. It is not soluble in benzene, acetone and other organic solvents. Specification 1730/11, [Class 2 (iii)], is referred to.ALSO:A disazo dyestuff distinguished by a brilliant orange shade of colour is obtained by coupling tetrazotized 4 : 41 - diamino - 3 : 31 - dichlordiphenyl with 1-(41-methylphenyl)-3-methyl-5-pyrazolone. The dyestuff colours rubber a brilliant orange which is fast during the vulcanization. It is not soluble in benzene, acetone and other organic solvents. Specification 1730/11, [Class 2 (iii)], is referred to.
