Abstract

Discs or cylinders on which sound may be magnetically recorded are made by a moulding or like process from a composition consisting of a magnetizable powder (preferably iron derived from iron carbonyl) mixed with particles of a non-magnetic material such as styrol, with the addition of a suitable further filling material if desired.
