438,695. Switch bases. BAIN, R., 25, Beaudesert Road, Handsworth, Birmingham, and ALLDAY, N., The Nest, Streetly Lane, Four Oaks, Warwickshire. May 3, 1935, No. 13162. [Class 38 (v)] [See also Group XXXVI] A mounting for switches &c. comprises a moulded insulating block 5, hollow in the centre 7, and having lugs 10 projecting into the hollow and recessed from the face of the block. Two of the lugs 10 are flush with the back of the block and receive screws 11 by which the block is fixed to the wall 6. The other two lugs have screw-threaded holes 12 moulded therein to receive screw studs by which the base of the switch is secured to the block. The hollow 7 is of a shape corresponding to that of the base of the switch which is thus sunk into the block.
