[Class 38 (v)] A box for mounting a range of rotary switches 18 of varying depths, comprises top and bottom die-castings 3, 4 having grooves 9, 10, respectively, in which is fixed, by mastic or pins, a variable-depth, sheet-metal side .member 12. The top casting 3 has an aperture surrounded by a groove 16 in which a shaped disc member 14, fixed to the switch 18 by screws 17, is secured by mastic. Gaskets may be used to make the box water-tight.
