438,567. Fuel atomizers. LEHTO, T. E., 16A, Linnankatu, and SUOMEN PATENTTI-JA INSINOORITOIMISTO OY, 34B, Turuntie, both in Helsingfors, Finland. April 9, 1935, No. 10961. Convention date, Dec. 13, 1934. [Class 7 (iii)] [See also Group XXII] Liquid fuel issues through grooves 6 formed in the surfaces of one or more washers 3 which are clamped against the end of a plug 1 by a bolt 8. The fuel is admitted through a longitudinal groove 10 in the bolt 8 and enters the grooves 6 through annular channels formed by bevelling the inner edges 5 of the washers. The grooves 6, which are arranged in converging pairs so that the issuing jets meet outside the atomizer, are cut with a chisel and dimensioned by grinding the surfaces of the washers.
