437,841. Clocks and watches. BRAVINGTONS, Ltd., and NEALE, H. A., 298, Pentonville Road, London. Aug. 30, 1934, No. 25006. [Class 139] A dust-proof casing for a watch or clock movement 4 fits within an outer case 16 and comprises a box-like member 5 for enclosing the movement, provided with a lid 10 which has a stepped portion to fit within the opening of the box-like member, one side of the latter having a winding-stem aperture 8 whilst the back of part 5 or the lid 10 has a hand-arbor aperture 11. Aperture 8 has a pendant 9 for the winding stem. Dustproof packings may be provided for the apertures 8 and 11, and the edge of lid 10 may be packed with grease. A separate dial may be provided, but preferably the dial is painted or enamelled directly upon the box 5 or the lid 10. The movement 4 is held by screws 6 and 7.
