[Class 36] Fuse wires or fuse wire leads or both, for electric mine fuses, are insulated with a substance comprising polymerizates of vinyl chloride, or after-chlorinated such polymerizates. The insulation may comprise mixed polymerizates of vinyl chloride and other vinyl compounds such as acrylic acid esters or vinyl acetate or after-chlorinated such mixed polymerizates ; softening agents such as tricresyl phosphate, tributyl phosphate or dibutyl phthalate may also be included. The insulation may be applied in a seamless layer by means of a tubing press, with heating. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 422,957.
