436,441. Steering motor vehicles. A.C. (ACEDES) CARS, Ltd., Thames Ditton, Surrey, and HURLOCK, C. F., 76, Tulse Hill, Brixton, London. Jan. 29, 1934, No. 2999. [Class 79 (v)] The steering column c is angularly adjustable and is mounted in a supporting device d held in overlapping relationship with a fixed bracket g, both support and bracket being formed with toothed, ribbed, or serrated engaging surfaces e, h and held in any desired relative position by means of a single locking device such as a bolt k. In the construction shown, the support d is formed with a ring a containing a rubber ring b encircling the column c. The bolt k passes through a circular hole in the bracket g and a slot f in the support d. The bracket g is secured to the facia board j.
