[Classes 75 (iii) and 75 (iv)] An illuminating device for one or more identification plates 7 or a rear light 15 for a streamlined vehicle is accommodated in a fin-like part 6 extending in the direction of the flow of air and mounted on the wall 5 of the vehicle body. The fin 6 is formed with a thickened portion 9 which houses an electric light bulb and which is provided with side windows such as 13 for the illumination of the identification plate or plates and with the rear light glass 15.
