436,307. Fusible cut-outs. CALLENDER'S CABLE & CONSTRUCTION CO., Ltd., and METCALF, A. W., Hamilton House, Victoria Embankment, London. April 18, 1934, No. 11727. [Class 38 (i)] In a rewireable cartridge fuse the fusible strip 3 preferably composed of high melting point metal parts joined by a low melting point metal 4, passes non-rectilinearly through an inner structure 7 comprising main and auxiliary expansion chambers and constructed in two removable halves. In the arrangement shown, two such strips are mounted in the cartridge and are separated in the structure 7 by a spool-like insert 16.
