[Class 140] Peeled wood veneers are seasoned and rendered pliable by steeping cut lengths in an aqueous solution of formalin, chrome alum, gelatine, and glycerine. The treated veneers are adhesively secured to a backing of paper or other fibrous material or fabric for use as wall coverings or like purposes. Specification 388,593 is referred to.
