435,322. Illuminated signs. MOORHOUSE, H. D., Sedgley Lodge, Derby Road, Heaton Moor, and EASTON, W. B., 43, College Drive, College Road, Whalley Range, both in Manchester. March 20, 1934, No. 8667. [Class 3 (ii)] In a sign of the kind comprising a perforated and rear-illuminated base board 8 provided with detachable glass units 7 in some of the holes forming characters, the remaining holes being provided with opaque or translucent units of a colour differing from that of the units 7, the units comprise glass plugs with shanks which engage in the holes either with a loose fit, the baseboard being inclined backwardly to retain them in position, or with a push fit sufficient to retain the plugs if the board is vertical or forwardly inclined.
