Abstract

269,949. Constant, C. L. J. Jacquiot-. April 26, 1926, [Convention date]. Monogrammic signs. - A sign &c. comprises a base plate, Fig. 1, having perforations at regular intervals, on which is fixed a sheet of rubber &c., Fig. 2, having correspondingly arranged cross slits. The slits lie over the perforations in the base plate, and normally do not allow light to penetrate from the back. To form a sign, transparent rods &c. are pushed through the requisite perforations from the rear till their ends, which may be rounded, appear through the slits, and thus allow light to show through. The sign may form the front face of a box containing lamps.
