Abstract
434,650. Lace and like collars for personal wear. WERTHEIM GES., A., 126, Leipziger Strasse, Berlin. Feb. 28, 1935, No. 6414. Convention date, Jan. 19. [Class 141] An insertion collar for ladies' apparel, comprising a lower part 1, which is inserted in the neck opening of a dress, and a facing 2, is provided with an exchangeable trimming 5 attached thereto by means of press studs 4. The interengaging parts of the press studs are attached respectively to the underside of the facing 2 and to the upper side of the lower part 1 and, where the trimming is made of lace or other perforated material, the press studs are connected together through the perforations in the trimming. If the trimming is of unperforated material, it is provided at its inner edge with a strip of lace or perforated material. The facing 2 of the insertion collar may terminate at the front in tie ends ; or the trimming may take the form of a lace collar 6, as shown in Fig. 4, or a bow 9, as shown in Fig. 6, provided with a plurality of holes 10 so as to serve to adjust the width of the insertion collar at the front.
