[Class 38 (iii)] A controller comprises drum contacts e mounted on the same shaft a as contactor cams b, and situated in the spaces normally necessary between the cams. The drum contacts may be carried by cylindrical elements d mounted either directly on the shaft a or on bosses c formed with the cams b. The elements d may consist of semi-cylindrical parts secured by transverse bolts. The contact fingers co-operating with the drum contacts may be situated between the contactor levers actuated by the cams, or on the opposite side of the shaft.
