[Class 24] In conveyer chains of the type in which the axle pins or bucket studs 1 present at their outer ends one or more flats 2 for non-rotatable engagement with corresponding holes in the outermost plates of the chain links, the securing means consists of a spring retaining clip 4 lying in a circumferential groove in the pin or stud and having one or more straight portions 5 engaging the flat or flats thereon.
