422,575. Driving-belts. CORK, E., Wonersh, Upton Road, Bexley Heath, Kent. July 17, 1933, No. 20155. [Class 80 (i)] A chain-belt for V-pulleys comprises a bicycle chain straddled by U-shaped clips 4 having friction pads 5 mounted on their legs. In the form shown, a double chain is employed, the parts being spaced apart by shoulders 1<a> on the common pivot-pins 1. The links are held on the pivot-pins by the springiness of the clips 4, which are perforated to pass over the ends of the pins. The links are spaced from each other by further shoulders 1<b> on the pins.
