Abstract
431,530. Roller-and-breast mills. ANCIENS ETABLISSEMENTS LE CLEZIO, 46, Boulevard Richard Lenoir, Paris. Jan. 31, 1934, No. 3234. Convention date, Jan. 31, 1933. [Class 59] In a roller-and-breast mill a pair of parallel spaced grinding bars co-operatewith the roller and mechanical means, located in the hopper, is adapted to force the material to be treated under pressure to the space between the grinding bars. The hopper 5 is provided with a feed - screw driven from the rollershaft 7. The feed-screw forces the pasty material into the chamber 3 of the breast 2 where it is ground between the roller 1 and the double bars of the breast. The material to be ground may be conveyed to the hopper by a double screw in which the materials are mixed. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 261,322, [Class 59].
