Abstract

431,110. Wrappers; unpacking. JOHNSON & JOHNSON (GT. BRITAIN), Ltd., Slough, Buckinghamshire.-(Johnson & Johnson; New Brunswick, New Jersey, U.S.A.) Nov. 21, 1934, No. 33530. [Class 94 (i)] First-aid dressings and the like are enclosed in a wrapper having the form shown in Fig. 4 to form a package as shown in Fig. 1. The side flap 10 is formed with a notch 11 and the end is curved to form a tab 12. The end flap 8 is cut away at 13 so that when the package is wrapped up it partially overlies but allows access to the tab 12, by means of which the end of the wrapper may be removed by tearing. The wrapper may be formed of the material known under the Registered Trade Mark " Cellophane," or of glassine. When a grained material is used, the grain is arranged to be at right angles to the major dimension of the wrapper.
